Hi, I’m James S. Lowe lll, and I love what I do! I love to make a difference, and I love to see both the quick, short-term changes and the long-term, permanent changes that counseling provides. What could be more rewarding? We’re a locally owned business. I’ve been a professional counselor for over 20 years, and I have my master's degree. I provide counseling for adolescents and adults with an emphasis on alcoholism, drug addiction, behavioral addictions such as gambling, sex addictions, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger issues, and other common mental health issues. A large part of my success can be traced to the fact that I use the latest therapy techniques and that I care deeply about each person I see. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT is grounded in the belief that it is a person’s perception of events, rather than the events themselves, that determines how he or she will feel and act in response. Whether it’s talking on the phone or having an office visit he always makes sure his patients are staying on track with treatment plan. He is very flexible with appointments can always fit me in when work allows me the time to make it. The thing I like the most is he recommends that your spouse, parents, or even a friend get involved in your treatment so you have accountability to someone.
